Capitas Finance, a leading specialist in financing energy solutions, has been shortlisted for two categories at this year’s BusinessGreen Leaders Awards.
Now in their 12th year, the awards shine a spotlight on the UK’s leading green businesses, with entries judged rigorously by a panel of sustainability professionals and leaders. This year the awards attracted a huge number of entries from across the UK’s green economy, underscoring the breadth of innovation, creativity and expertise that is driving the country towards a greener, cleaner, and more resilient future.
Capitas has once again been named as a finalist in the Consultancy of the Year category – having been shortlisted last year – as well as Energy Efficiency Project of the Year for its work with Rygor, the UK’s largest dedicated dealer group for Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicles.
In further good news, Capitas has also been shortlisted for the Energy Awards. It will contest the Energy Efficiency Partnership of the Year for its work with Journey Energy Solutions at Rygor, a project which helped the motor dealer cut carbon emissions by 980 tonnes and reduce the energy expenditure by more than £95,000 in 12 months.
The winners of the BusinessGreen Leaders Awards will be announced on June 22 with the Energy Awards being revealed a week later on June 29.
